Sportsman Boatworks

The Coast Guard file credits Sportsman Boat Works, or Sportsman Boatworks Inc, with sportfishermen from 51 to 61 feet built between 1980 and 1990, documented in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina and beyond. Omie Tillett ran a yard of that name on Roanoke Island from 1973; Marlin credits him with eight hulls, the last the 1980 Brothers Pride. Whether the later hulls came from his yard is not established.
