Sheldon Midgett
Sheldon Midgett (1929–2004) was an Oregon Inlet Fishing Center charter captain from 1961 who built boats on Roanoke Island: first a small fishing boat, the Tilley B, then his famous charter boat Fish-N-Fool, Fish-N-Fool II and, as his third charter boat, Fish-N-Fool again, and, among his last, the 55-foot charter boat Sizzler, built with Paul Spencer. His boats were known for strength, ride and function, and he mentored Outer Banks builders including Buddy Davis, Billy Holton and Paul Spencer.
