Henry Tamani owned the yard and Dominick LaCombe Sr. built for it, first on Monterey Road in Stuart in the late 1970s, later on Jack James Drive. Thirteen Montereys were built in all, among them the 63-foot Glass Machine of 1984 and the 80-foot Patriot. The yard has long since closed.
