Tournament captain Jon Duffie created Duffie Boatworks in 2017 on Maryland's Eastern Shore, after learning the Carolina cold-molded method from Ricky Scarborough and building his first boat in his own garage. The yard has launched a hull a year since 2019, from a 26-foot center console to a 79-foot sportfisherman.
